Proportional Reinsurance
Amlin is a prominent provider of long term proportional reinsurance coverage within Lloyd’s. Our coverage includes participation on imbalanced treaties, working with clients to provide a ‘one stop shop’ through proportional cover, combined with top-end risk XL cover.
The focus for the account is on niche and full value insurers, and away from treaties with a petrochemical or layered business bias. Amlin will always consider research submissions from lesser known areas of the world.

Dominic Stoffel
Dominic joined Amlin in 2000 having graduated in geography at the University of Birmingham. He began his career at Amlin assisting on the property excess of loss reinsurance account before moving as a trainee underwriter to the proportional property treaty account.
Dominic gained his ACII designation in 2003, and is a member of
the Lloyd's India Advisory Group, the Lloyd's China Working Party
and the LMA International Property Reinsurance sub-group. In
addition to underwriting, Dominic has also had responsibility for
Realistic Disaster Scenario calculation, collation and reporting at
class, division and group level.
