Amlin writes marine, aviation and satellite reinsurance including all excess of loss lines of business. Emphasis is on protecting first line writers, although some original loss warranty business is written, and avoiding retrocessional business via a gross line integrity approach.

Having worked in the London insurance market since 1986, Sean joined Amlin in 1989 where he worked as a Cargo underwriter before moving into the reinsurance sector. Prior to joining Amlin, Sean worked for Commercial Union from 1986 to 1989.
