Amlin provides professional indemnity and employers and/or public/products liability cover for most commercial and industrial risks. Our liability policies can provide either combined or stand-alone cover for each product line.
The professional indemnity team provides coverage for a wide range of professional sectors particularly architects, engineers and construction as well as a number of the emerging professions.

Nigel Dorning

Between 1976 and 1985 Nigel worked for Sedgwick as a Professional Indemnity Broker. He passed his ACII in 1980 and went on to become Assistant Director at Sedgwick. In 1985 Nigel joined Bain Dawes to take on responsibility for all London Market broking before his promotion to Executive Director where he focused on product research and development at the merged Bain Hogg.
Prior to joining Drysdales as a Professional Indemnity Underwriter, Nigel spent two years with RGB Underwriting Agencies Ltd.

Shaun Randell

Shaun entered the London insurance market in 1986 with Marsh Ltd. where he specialised in placing liability risks for UK and multi-national companies. He joined Amlin in 2003 and was appointed Leading Class Underwriter for the Liability account in November 2005.

Tim Wilmshurst

Tim began work in the insurance industry in 1975. He came to Amlin from the company market where he spent most of his career in commercial insurances.
Prior to Amlin, Tim spent 13 years as a liability underwriter. During this time he also obtained experience of the casualty business having spent time working in commercial property, commercial marketing and claims.
