Amlin plc, the UK listed insurance and reinsurance group, jointly with the directorship of its two subsidiaries, Anglo French Underwriters (AFU) and Amlin Corporate Insurance France (ACI France) announces their intention to group together these subsidiaries into a new entity to known as AMLIN FRANCE.
AFU (the leading Underwriting Agency for Lloyd’s in France) and ACI France (an insurer underwriting Property and Liability Insurance) are to join forces under a single brand AMLIN FRANCE , under Mr. François Martinache, the current President of the Anglo French Underwriters.
AMLIN FRANCE will see the combination of all resources and expertise unite to further develop existing classes of business and extend this growth into new areas of the market, as well as improved efficiency in claims handling and technical expertise.
Having product lines which are extremely complementary and a unique geographical presence with more than 1300 producing brokers, AMLIN FRANCE’s ambition is to become a leading risk carrier in the French market, in both international programmes and domestic classes and for specialist and commercial business lines. AMLIN FRANCE will be able to quote business for major companies working internationally, as well as with medium and small sized companies in France. With a premium income of more than € 60,000,000, AMLIN FRANCE intends to play a powerful role in the market.
