Amlin Expands Actuarial Team

Peter Tavner has been appointed Deputy Group Actuary within the in-house team of leading Lloyd’s insurer, Amlin. He joins from the Lloyd’s Market Risk & Reserving Unit where he managed an 11-strong team in the development and delivery of the Risk Based Capital system to the Lloyd’s market.
A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Peter has fifteen years’ insurance industry experience gained with Commercial Union (now Aviva), Swiss Re and Lloyd’s. At Amlin he joins a team of five, reporting to Group Actuary, Phil Ellis and has primary responsibility for further developing Amlin’s Dynamic Financial Analysis model.
