Health and Safety
Health and Safety is an important issue and the Amlin Group aims to ensure that adequate resources exist for the implementation of this policy. We conduct regular safety performance reviews to ensure that we meet the legislative requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
We recognise the value of our employees as key to the continuing business success and our policy is to provide and maintain a work environment with safe equipment and systems of working.
This Policy is communicated to Amlin employees through a variety of mediums including inductions, notice boards and electronically. To ensure the Policy is kept up to date it is reviewed annually.

Business Continuity
In July 2005, we achieved the PAS56 standard for our Business Continuity Management Plan. PAS56 is essentially a framework for best practice in this area and is now under review by the British Standards Institution. This has now been replaced with BS 25999 with which Amlin remains compliant.
