Between 1988 and 1995 Steve worked in the UK commercial new business team at Hogg Insurance Brokers focusing on broking motor fleet business in the London market. Shortly after the merger of Hogg and Bain Clarkson, Steve moved to Johnson & Higgins as Motor Fleet broker in their London team. The merger of Bowring and then Sedgwick to form Marsh resulted in promotion to Assistant Director and extended responsibility for broking the UK fleet account of Marsh into the London market.
