Craig commenced his insurance career in 1981 with the Excess
Insurance Group later to become London and Edinburgh. After three
years in the Contractors All Risks department he transferred to the
Professional Indemnity Department originally concentrating on UK
domiciled accounts. During this time with London and Edinburgh he
specialised in writing both the traditional and emerging
professions in the Regions and London market. He became Line of
Business Manager for the whole PI Account responsible for all
Regional and London business before leaving to join Syndicate 55
GLR in 1996 to head up their PI department.
Craig spent three years with GLR developing their UK and Overseas
account before moving to Syndicate 991 AEG in 1999 to strengthen
their PI operation. He joined Amlin in 2000 as a Class Underwriter
and has assisted in the development of the UK Commercial
division’s PI account, particularly the UK sector and
selected overseas territories for a wide range of professional
vocations.
