Andy started his career in insurance in 1996 working for a high street personal lines broker. He joined London & Edinburgh in 1997 as a commercial property owner’s Assistant Underwriter working out of the company’s head office in Worthing, Sussex. When Norwich Union purchased London & Edinburgh in 1998, Andy remained in the Worthing office but in 2000 moved to the company’s City office working as a property underwriter.
In 2003 Andy joined Zurich's property owner’s team as a Development Underwriter, he was later promoted to Senior Development Underwriter and headed up his own team working on high profile accounts. Andy joined Amlin in May 2009 along with four of his colleagues from Zurich.
