Tim began his career in the London company market in 1989 as a trainee underwriter. His early experiences included non-marine underwriting, claims handling, outwards reinsurance and marine hull underwriting.
He joined Amlin in December 1994 as an Assistant Underwriter on the marine hull account and progressed to the position of Hull Underwiter in 2000. Tim subsequently joined the marine energy class in 2003 as Energy Underwriter. He became Class Underwiter in 2008 and Leading Class Underwriter in 2011.
