Graham commenced work at a Lloyd’s accountants in 1974 before joining Lloyd’s Syndicate A.G.Oldworth & others in 1976 where he gained experience on auto, direct and facultative and treaty accounts. 

In 1985 Graham joined R.F. Bailey and others as the direct and facultative underwriter responsible for the auto, property and personal accident accounts. He became a director of R.F. Bailey Underwriting Agencies in 1992 before joining Amlin as the class underwriter for the auto account in 2003.
